Covão dos conchos
A circular stone entrance that seems to have no bottom, in the middle of a lagoon. The walk there is part of the visit.
Foz d'égua
A schist village on the river, with centuries-old houses and a quietness that is hard to find anywhere else.

zêzere glacier valley
A valley carved out by a glacier ten thousand years ago. Today it is green, wide and silent - where the River Zêzere begins.
long lagoon
The largest lagoon in Portugal, at an altitude of 1,500 metres. A clear view of the mountains, without a single sound.
